Phrasing with Diddles: A Sticking Dictionary is a book divided in two main sections, each with 36 parts. The first gives more than 1.000 detailed accented example, with constant 16th notes fills and suggestions regarding hand movements using diddles (double hits with each hands), hich the musician should attempt. The second section repeats the phrases from the first section, extracting the accented notes, thus leaving only the 16th notes of the fills exposed. Each example from section 2 is like a photo negative of the same phrase from section 1. I hope this book helps to show students a very effective technique, designed to enrich important aspects of the drummers-percussionists development.
